Interest Survey

Recently, there has been growing interest among some Woodcroft neighbors in forming a community garden as a way to bring neighbors together while increasing access to fresh, local produce and flowers. A community garden is a piece(s) of land designed for gardening use by community members. In this case, a larger plot(s) of land would be divided into smaller plots so that interested individuals or households could sign up to receive a plot of land to grow their own organic fruits, vegetables, and/or flowers. This is different than community supported agriculture (CSA) where land is collectively farmed and individuals receive a share of the produce.

We are still in the early stages of conceptualizing and planning a garden, so we are interested in understanding your response to this idea. These ideas will help to develop a plan or idea for a community garden that will need to be reviewed and approved by the Woodcroft Community Association Board.

Please respond to the questions below so that if such a garden is developed, it meets the needs and interests of Woodcroft residents.
